Our Mission

At Norwood Grange, our mission is to deliver exceptional, person-centred care that enhances quality of life and nurtures independence, while always safeguarding the comfort, privacy, and wellbeing of our residents. We believe every individual has unique needs and deserves to be supported in a way that celebrates their life story, their strengths, and their choices. Whether you are joining us for short-term respite, or long-term residential care, our dedicated and experienced team is here to walk alongside you and your family every step of the way.

Working in close partnership with residents, their loved ones, and healthcare professionals, we create personalised care plans that always ensure the right level of support.

At Norwood Grange, we know that a true home is more than bricks and mortar — it is a place of comfort, friendship, and belonging.

Dignity, privacy and choice

Care is planned individually and follows a human rights-based approach. Residents are offered information and choice, involved in decisions, and supported to maintain personal control. Their privacy, comfort, dignity, religious, cultural and political beliefs are respected.

Long-term residential care

Long-term residents receive nursing and personal care based on an assessment of their individual needs. Daily routines are carried out at each resident's pace, with an emphasis on personal control, choice, privacy and dignity.

Short-term respite care

Short-term respite care is available for people who need support for a defined period. Contact us to discuss current availability and whether we can safely meet the person's assessed care needs.

Emergency admissions

Sometimes care is needed at short notice — after a fall, a sudden illness, or an unexpected hospital discharge. Where we have a bed and can meet the person's needs, we arrange emergency admissions in consultation with the hospital, the person's GP and the family. Ring us and we will tell you straight away what is possible.

Ring us and describe the situation. If we are not the right home, we will say so — that is more useful to you than a visit that leads nowhere.
